Bio

Janean Christine Mariani writes and sings stripped-down bare-bones acoustic Americana songs of life, love, loss, and every now and again a touch of polished pop and blues. No matter the size of the audience or venue her intimate style makes folks feel at home as though she's singing to them in the comfort of their living room or gathered around a kitchen table. Her live performances are raw, loose, vulnerable and real -- an aural tapestry of her original compositions and the stories behind them, delicately woven with select covers honoring the revered artists who have influenced her professionally.

Summer 2020 found Mariani humbly honored and over the moon excited to be working with one of her dear professional influences and inspirations, renown UK artist John Reilly, singer-songwriter and frontman for bands Boy On A Dolphin and Acoustic Angels. The transatlantic collaboration resulted in a powerful revisioning of Mariani's song SHE SAID SHE'S LEAVING. The new single dropped on November 12, 2020 and all website proceeds from the transatlantic edition are donated to benefit Rape Abuse Incest National Network in the US and Women's Aid in the UK to help support survivors of domestic abuse throughout the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.

Summer 2021 kicked off with the pair teaming up again for another transatlantic collaboration. Reilly produced Janean Christine Mariani's follow-up single RED NUMBER FIVE a kicked-up-tempo track penned by Mariani with a driving beat and a sonic summer NOLA groove woven throughout the lyrics...the red hot new single dropped July 30th 2021!
