Clyde Leland (Grampa Clyde) started singing songs with kids about 40 years ago when his own children were in pre-school. In 2015, while singing with his granddaughter’s class, he realized that singing with kids is more fun than teaching law students. Janean Christine Mariani writes and sings stripped-down bare-bones acoustic Americana songs of life, love, loss, and every now and again a touch of polished pop and blues. The two singer-songwriters trade off sharing their songs and the stories behind them, weaving in select covers from the artists who have inspired them.
